This odd-looking creation is the ISIS AM01 and it’s the work of a Dutch company named Isis Cars that is led by Anton van Nunen and Max Alting Siberg. In an even stranger twist, the ISIS AM01 is based on another coachbuilt sports car from the Netherlands called the Saker. Underneath the composite body shell lies a 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer engine sourced from a Subaru Impreza WRX STI. The four-cylinder unit churns out 275HP and a peak torque of 350 Nm (258 lb-ft), with power being transferred to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox.

Given that the ISIS AM01 weighs just 850kg or 1,874 pounds, it shouldn’t come to a surprise that the Dutch sports car manages to return a 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint time of just 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 260km/h (162mph). What may come as a surprise though is the asking price that is set at €120,000, which comes to around US$174,000 at the current exchange rates. The Dutch builder said that it is also readying a second model called the AM02, which will be powered by a 400HP 3.0-liter engine of an unknown origin and priced at around €140,000 (US$203,000).

With its roomier cabin and wider and taller door openings with narrower doorsills designed for the easier egress/ingress of the American public, the Lotus Evora was a step in the more practical direction. 2012 Lotus Elise Club Racer is designed to prove that the brand still knows how to keep a vehicle’s weight down. The Lotus Elise Club Racer weighs 53 pounds less than the already light Lotus Elise. It was able to accomplish this task through many small detail changes. Some of the techniques employed include the addition of a lightweight battery and lightweight rims, the deletion of noise insulation, and even painting on the Lotus logo instead of using real emblems.

2012 Lotus Elise Club Sport will also come with a Sport setting for the stability control software that will sit between the previous On and Off settings. 2011 Nissan Esflow Concept is one of the highly innovative cars released by Nissan Motors. The Esflow is basically created to regulate the use of “Zero Emission”. California-based tuner Vorsteiner has just unveiled a new update to their BMW M3 GTRS3. Built on top of the BMW M3 Coupe, the BMW M3 GTRS3 was the first of its kind in the Vorsteiner lineup when released in 20100. The BMW M3 GTRS3 Aero Package consists of complete splitter, extended front fenders, extended side skirts, rear quarter panel fender arch extensions, and a wide-stance rear bumper with integrated carbon diffuser. The new upgrade is dubbed “Candy Cane” because of its pure Alpine White exterior combined with striking red body parts, including red side mirrors, wheels, bonnet and…the BMW Roundel.

The lightweight titanium exhaust system and the new set of red V-309 Forged 5 Spoke wheels size 20″ combined with Michelin PS2 Sport Tires 285/25/20 To increase power output, Vorsteiner has created two different stages, but specifics have yet to be revealed. What we do know is that Stage II is ready to pump out up to 620 horsepower.

2011 Lamborghini Aventador Polizia

The Italian Polizia has never been shy about introducing Lamborghinis to their fleet of police cars, having already done so in the past for the Lamborghini Gallardo. Now that Lamborghini has officially introduced their new baby, the LP700-4 Aventador, we think that it’s only a matter of time before a number of these Italian supercars are dressed up in the familiar blue and white finish of the Lamborghini Aventador Polizia. To give us an idea of what to expect if and when the car makes its first appearance safeguarding the Italian roads, Milanno Artworks, together with CarreraDesign, has created a number of renderings of what the Lamborghini Aventador Polizia is poised to look like.

Details about the car isn’t going to be announced anytime soon, but as a special police vehicle, it is expected to carry with a number of special features, including a defibrillator, a refrigerator container for transport of organs, and police lights - probably using LED lights - under the air intakes and inside the Italian supercar.

Seeing as Lamborghini and the Italian Polizia have a strong relationship buoyed by their continued collaboration, we won’t bet against seeing an Lamborghini Aventador Polizia down the road.
